THE PURPLE PUB IS BACK!
The Purple Pub, a local pub and eatery that was a favorite among locals and Williams College Alumnus, will reopen with new management at 65 Spring Street in the new addition to the recently renovated former Hopkins Furniture store. With huge tri-folding wall mahogany doors, The Purple Pub will have indoor and outdoor dining. The Purple Pub’s new owner is Berkshire Restaurant Group “We couldn’t be more excited to be in Williamstown.” said Thierry Breard chef and owner. “The new Purple Pub will build on its strong heritage in a larger setting and expanded menu which will appeal to residents, tourists, Clark Art visitors, Theatre Festival goers and students alike.” Before coming to Williamstown, Mr. Breard has had successes with other respected Berkshire County eateries including Alta Restaurant, Bistro Zinc, and Wheatleigh in Lenox, as well as Spice in Pittsfield. Next to the pub, a new Pizza place to be named Spring Street Pizza will sell slices, whole pies, and salads from the 61 Spring Street Storefront. Spring Street Pizza will become a destination for both lunch and dinner, seven days a week. |
